Mediating with The Family Mediation Initiative

We recognise that separating is rarely easy and that there can be all kinds of obstacles to navigate in deciding on the future, both practical and psychological. That's why it's important that you choose a mediator that you think will be right for you.  If you both agree on mediation and we assess that it's suitable for you, we'll bring our well developed skills to helping you achieve a successful outcome. These are skills such as:

  • real empathy
  • an understanding of what is going on below the surface
  • a consensual approach
  • intelligence
  • financial literacy
  • pragmatism
